I Set Out To Get A Revenge Body—But Losing 40 Pounds Changed My Life In A Much Bigger Way


I never practiced healthy eating habits growing up. I'd skip breakfast every single day out of convenience. When it came to the rest of my meals, I ate whatever I wanted. 

I was an emotional eater and had the mentality that if something made me happy, I should just eat it. Unfortunately, what made me happy was snacking on Oreos and Goldfish. Around mid thirties, these habits finally caught up with me and I started gaining weight.

I was starting to get a little bit of a belly. However, I'd been active around the house and family duties, so I was far from morbidly obese.

I knew I needed some help and I really wanted to do it this time properly. So I thought that I will eventually have to fix my diet, workout everyday, and eat less to make this change.

Tired and burnt out, one evening after work I was watching talk shows on TV and saw a woman named Meghan share her drastic weight-loss story on the Red Table Talk with Jada Pinkett Smith.


She was on live TV showing her whole transformation journey and she looked stunning and just looked confident and happy so I kept listening.
